IB Gives Back

At Independence Bank, we give back to the communities that have given so much to us over the years. We are committed to building stronger communities for the future through involvement, donations, sponsorship, and volunteerism. As a bank, we encourage and support our employees to stay active in support of local charitable organizations and clubs. Together, we are investing in our friends and neighbors, and building a community for the next generation.

Volunteering

More than 50% of our employees are actively serving on boards, clubs, and other community organizations to support youth, seniors, education, health, and other needs. We expect and encourage our staff to give back to their communities and support causes closest to their hearts.

Over 50 Years of Love

In 2023, IB employees put in 2025 hours of volunteer time in their local communities. In February, we like to kick off the year of giving back and our staff volunteered more than 440 hours in our branch communities.  Their time went to local athletic events, food pantries, senior citizens, children, education, foster parents and children, dance and arts organizations, and more!

Historically, the majority of IB donations supports Youth Organizations and Education. In 2024, that trend continues with almost 51% our donations going to youth clubs, organizations, events, and schools in our branch communities.
